Newly founded in 2022, the Quartet Music Awards (QMAs) is an award show designed and centered around the focus of those who have contributed to the genre of

'quartet' in the present day. As we celebrate this amazing genre, we also pay homage to those that have paved the way in their legendary accomplishments, music and gifts as well

Founded by D. Chubbs Morton and Connie Birth; the QMAs launched in the summer of 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia in a major way. Many groups, artists. promoters, entertainment personalities and more hit the red carpet and main stage at the downtown, historical Centerstage Theater.

Reaching a mass audience of almost over 1,000 people in the building, the awards took off as a success; with the hopes of becoming one of the premiere awards shows catered to this specific genre. Gospel music royalty, the Legendary Dr. Bobby Jones (of BET's Bobby Jones Gospel) was the electric show host. Co-Hosted by Justin Rufus.

 

In years following, the QMA’s relocated two years in a row to Augusta, Georgia and in 2023 & 2024. Year after year, and stage after stage the show has become one of the most anticipated award shows known to the genre of quartet. Groups, producers and entertainers alike have come from all over the country to celebrate one of the greatest sounds known to humanity! We are excited about the new direction we are heading in with the awards. 

 

After a break and revisions, The QMA’s are moving forward with Connie Birth as the new standalone CEO and the Quartet Music Awards returns in April 2026 in Charlotte, North Carolina with a new vision but the same mission.
