Nominee Requirements & Qualifications
Nominees for the 2026 Quartet Music Awards must meet the following eligibility criteria to be considered for placement on the official ballot:
Active Presence:
Nominees must demonstrate an active and growing audience, platform, or public following, whether through live performances, digital engagement, media presence, or community visibility.Current Body of Work:
Nominees must have music, recorded content, or creative works that are currently available to the public through streaming platforms, digital outlets, or other accessible display formats.Genre Representation:
Nominees must be actively contributing to and representing the genre of quartet music. Their presentation, sound, branding, and body of work should reflect and uphold the musical, cultural, and stylistic standards of the quartet tradition.All submissions and nominations will be reviewed for compliance with these criteria. Final approval and placement on the official ballot is at the sole discretion of the Quartet Music Awards Board of Directors. The Board reserves the right to verify qualifications and to accept or decline nominees at its judgment.
